Trader Role

So you want to be a trader do ya? Well here we go into the trader role. First and foremost do not over think this role.

It is a fun role however if you fill your materials bar with only 3 star turkey’s or 3 star Cougars your gonna get the same end results. Full long distant delivery will be $625.00, you get the same XP as well. It doesn’t change.

However if you fill your materials with cougars or panthers it will only take five of them to fill it. If you fill it with turkeys it’s going to take much more… just depends on how much hunting you want to do.

Same with the stars on the animals your going to get faster results with 3 stars of any animal then with a 1 or 2 star. So hunting can go as quick or as long as you want.

Your wagon while hunting, well it can take 5 big animals, or 10 medium animals, what most people do not know is after you fill with either or, you can put many many pelts in that wagon as well. I have still to fill the wagon full of pelts after filling the max of large or medium animals.

Once you get your camp full of materials don’t forget you can fill that wagon up again and make more money hunting and selling to the butcher. I usually fish the pike in and around Valentine. Never drive your wagon there always call it to you when you get there. Once filled dismiss it get your horse go to butcher and then call your wagon then Sell wagon load. You can put 5 pike in a wagon, same with all other big fish.

Now when it comes time to deliver…where’s the best place to do this? Well one thing is for sure check the dailies! Where is the majority of the dailies taking place? Example if players are hunting hawks, vultures, lizards etc: new Austin is not where you want to be selling a wagon full of goods from or to. Also check the players list what levels are in the room with you? Have you tried to recruit anyone in the server to help you deliver your wagon? Many players need the money and or are willing to help defend you specially if your a lower level ask the higher level players first and work your way down. If no one comes jump servers as you don’t want a whole server knowing your selling a wagon after you have asked them.

If you have a good size posse you hardly get messed with. However if it’s just you consider doing a local delivery, yeah your gonna miss out on a $100 or so dollars. But the risk is far less. Though you can still get your wagon stolen in a local delivery.

I find I like selling from Little Creek near Strawberry, local usually(not always) goes to Wallace Station. However I have gone to Thieves Landing and Macfarlane’s ranch in long distance.

New Austin Gap-tooth area usually goes to the shack and to Macfarlane’s again not always true but for the most part. (Long Distance)

Heartland’s goes to Van Horn (local) and Black water… (long Distance)

So just really think about your options and it really depends on how big your posse is. As to where your going to want to sell your wagon and when.

On another note, if your delivery is large & distant and if you have enough posse members. You could destroy the wagon right off the bat. Carrying the supplies to its destination by your horses. It is much faster and less risky. Remember having enough posse members to carry each bag is key. Same goes when you accidentally crash or destroy the wagon of course.

Now for those who like to try to stop such missions and or deliveries. You can totally steal these wagons, you won’t get the money but you will get most if not all the materials being sold once you deliver the wagon you stole. Once delivered, on the top of your screen it will tell you how many units were added to your camp.

Good luck Trading folks!

Another map for collectibles

Ok guys looks like the map I use for collectibles is a work in progress since the moonshine update. However don’t fear I have another you can use. They are also working on it as well, however I have been cross using lol both maps to get my stuff done. Also where you can find animals. I haven’t tested it out fully but let’s give it a go shall we. Here is the website don’t forget to book mark it RDR2 map.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!(#Tips&Tricks)

Here is where I discuss grinding and the best way I see to do so!

Jewelry – (not collectibles) It’s everywhere! Since the prices went up on them as well, what better time then to grind them right?

The cabin in little creek with the barn has 2 in the cabinet by the stairs.

On the peninsula the homestead has 2 one in the corner cabinet and one on the desk. Plus in the barn there’s a few things of loot for your horse.

Out side Valentine under Cumberland Forest there is a hideout, in the bedroom on the dresser there is jewelry there.

By Heartland oil fields there is a dugout inside there is 1 there. On the dresser.

In Rhodes there are two locations one in the saloon, in the bedroom behind the bar on the dresser. Closest to the back door. You can also find a collectible there from time to time. The second location is at Braithwaite Manor. Upstairs first door on the left at the top of stairs. It is on the night stand as you enter the room.

The next place is in Lagras there are actually two spots but 3 jewelry. The first 2 are in the house 1 in the corner wardrobe closet and 1 in the desk. There is also sometimes collectibles here as well on certain days. The next location is where the hideout pops. There is jewelry in the house with the hole in it. Next to the bed on the nightstand. Also there is much loot to be had in both buildings from food to gun oil.

Now this building is by Van Horn you have to climb up onto the porch to climb up in the window. There is a watch in the desk to the left once inside. Plus a liquor bottle collectible is sometimes in this room as well.

Ok last one that I have in my memory bank lol. There are a couple more places…. but for the life of me I can not 100% remember where they are, if I do I’ll update this.

This one is at O,Creagh’s lake area. There is 2 here. 1 in the stand by the door. Plus lots of food as well. Then there is 1 in the nightstand by the bed in the bedroom. Plus more lootables.

Now I made bank on theses and I hope you will find a routine to fit it in, while collecting collectibles or something. The order I have them in is actually my route that I use to collect them.

Now for another tip:

Let’s talk about gold shall we, many players I have spoken to say they never think about doing the Daily’s…. WOW are you all out of the loop…right now I am sitting on close to 1,000 in gold just off gold alone.

How do you say well… I do my Daily’s all the time. I used to do every single one of them every day before the update. Yes even the showdowns( though I hate them ). Here’s the thing if you do at least one daily a day you will continue your so called streak. That’s fine and all cause you don’t make enough at first to matter. At the end of 28 days you get a treasure map…. psh posh… I get those like I get bunnies on a good day! Do not reset those dailies because this is where you’ll get most of your gold!

See after 28 days you will start getting like .5 in gold that’s half a bar of gold for each daily you do… if you finish the first 7 you get 5 gold bars…unless of course you have your role daily’s to do as well… mine add up to 16 Daily’s a day…Do the math, if I am making a half gold bar each daily then collecting  gold bars for doing all of the 16 …. blows your mind! Believe me collecting and adding those gold bars it adds up quick!

I have had players tell me shoot wish I had done this a long time ago.. they went from having 2 gold bars to 100 or more gold bars in a week.

Now don’t think I just sit on my gold because I don’t. If there is something I want or like I buy it. I make so much gold I never really miss it.

Another thing as well when you do free roam missions. Those are the circle’s with the little guy in there remember don’t just rush in and turn them in wait out the time to the last 30 seconds. You gain not only more cash money but gold and coins as well. Do this with your Bounties as well same results!

Can we say gold gold and more gold !!!!!

Ok now this is for the newbies out there…..

When you start off your not going to get the best pelts and animals. Your guns are gonna be so weak. So my advice to you kill everything you can from large to small. Go sell at the butcher often everything you can! Grind those animals and daily’s. You will see your money rise fast. Also at level 14 get that fishing pole pike and muskies go for well above 7-8 bucks a pop. Use two horse by riding the one you caught and having your horse follow.

The weapons I suggest you get first are the bolt, Springfield, and the Varment. Get the Varment as fast as possible for the small animals. Don’t worry so much about the bow yet! You’ll need a lot to get it where you want it for the smaller animals anyway. However I have gotten 3 stars just fine from the Varment with smaller animals like bunnies, raccoons etc: I’d even get the Varment before the fishing pole. I think it is available before the pole anyway.

Kill small birds, bats, rats, etc save in satchel so that when the Daily’s turn 10 to 20 small to butcher or cribbs, you have them on hand.

Shoot pelicans and save a few of that meat so again when that daily comes up you have it. Think ahead to what daily’s come about and what you can do to save yourself some time in the future.

In my honest opinion the best Role to start first off the bat and always is the collector. You can sell all the duplicate items you collect and make money lots of it! Plus you also level up quicker then the others on your normal level. If your not worried about the big payouts right now through getting a whole collection then sell everything to her at first. Just to get some money under your belt. Then start collections later down the road. Also don’t forget that map !!! You will never have to buy maps from Madame if you use that unless of course it’s on the daily.

Jeanropke -the map!

So this ends this post of my tips and tricks for now. As more come to mind I will certainly update and add as they come. Good luck out folks and Happy Grinding.

Bounty Hunter Role

Not much to tell here, it’s pretty self explanatory don’t you think. I do however have a couple tips for you here as well.

First and foremost ALWAYS wait till the last 30 seconds to turn your bounties in. Just like your free roam Mission’s, you will get the most money and xp out of your bounties when you wait your time out to the last 30 seconds. Of course if you do dailies and the * bring in so many bounties in under 5 mins* comes up you will want to do that.

Also during your searches in the yellowish shades. Make sure to be using your eagle eye all the time as sometimes you can find your bounties with out having to run around searching for the clues!

For now that is it!

Treasure Maps

Are you finding that you are knee deep with treasure maps you haven’t found? Are they time consuming for you? Well here is a fast and productive way to getting those treasure maps down. Even if you don’t have a lot maybe one or two this is helpful knowledge. Just go to

Jeanropke Map

Look up your maps unselect the ones you don’t have in the category section. The Jeanropke map is updated regularly and is well kept. The treasure maps are awesome. I had ten maps thought oh man this is going to take me forever. Nope used this map and with in a matter of mins all ten were done.

I just want to give the site owner of that map a shout out and a big thank you. I will be referencing that map a lot in my blogs! Here is some sample pictures I took when I was searching for my maps.

Like I said it is an awesome map and it does wonders when your crunched for time. Enjoy and don’t forget to check that map often for more useful info.

Collectables Itemized

I have been working on this for sometime. This is my first post of many to come, if anyone would like to add to this tips and tricks website please feel free to contact me. Until then please enjoy this site.

Now this is an itemized list with item and price of each item. I like to know just how much each item is as I collect it, as I am sure many others are. Feel free to print this out and save it close by as you enjoy your game play. I have many things to share with you and hope you will also share your tips and tricks in the comments. If the Tip and or Trick is well liked I will put it in its own blog here and credit you if you wish.
